| Refrigerated Air Dryers Genuine-Cycling Refrigerated Air Dryer (range 18 scfm to 2000 scfm) The MTA "DE" or Dry Energy series refrigerated air dryer is our flagship product and uses 30% to 80% less energy than conventional dryers. using a non-toxic "dry" thermal storage area, cold "energy" is stored when the compressed air demand is anything less than full load. This situation generally occurs when 1) the dryer and the compressor's capacities don't match evenly; 2) seasonal changes and thus a swing in operating temperatures/pressures; 3) varying loads as a result of shift work. to prevent common dew point deterioration resulting from liquid re-entrainment during reduced flow situations, our DE range of dryers incorporate a stainless steel "demister" type moisture separator. this inherent "CAS" (Continuous Active Separation) separator provides 99.9 % efficiency under varying load conditions by utilizing the mechanisms and effects of cold coalescing and directional change impingement separation. our refrigeration system is charged with environmentally friendly R134a refrigerant and has not been altered or modified from its original design in an attempt to achieve energy efficiency. "BIG" Dryers Series SLS Technology which is well tried and tested, traditional and at the same time simple, offering outstanding performance capability and the maximum reliability for large-scale applications up to 12,000 scfm. These dryers are equipped with a copper/copper evaporator and a tube-bundle air/air exchanger, which is well sized in order to maximize heat recovery. the tubes have no internal fins; the air passes outside the tubes and the cooling gas inside, thus reducing the volume compared to the immersion type evaporator. The control unit is electronic with microprocessor and LCD display of the state of the machine and alarms. All machines are constructed and stamped to ASME VIII and have a NEMA 4 enclosure. |
